Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an autonomous body under the Ministry of H.R.D, Government of  India which was started way back in 1965 for the benefit of the children of transferable employees of the Government of India  

981 schools are  located allover India under 18 different regions with it's headquarters in New Delhi.  K.V.S BANGALORE REGION is one among the 18 regions which connects 47 Kendriya Vidyalayas dotted on the landscape of Karnataka(36), Kerala(6)  & Goa(5)

KVS Regional Office Bangalore is located in the premises of KV MEG & Centre, Bangalore.  The Previous incumbents are as detailed below

 SHRI DT SUDARSHAN RAO is the present Assistant Commissioner KVS Regional Office Bangalore.  He joined on 18.08.2009  on SELECTION from KVS RO Bhubaneshwar.

          This Regional office started functioning from June 1993 with 40 Vidyalayas representing from 4 states i.e Karnataka, Goa, North Kerala and Tamil Nadu as detailed below:
